RSPCA's biggest fundraising event is back! After 22 years, Million Paws Walk is still the most important event on the canine calendar. Over 25,000 people will walk at 17 different locations across Victoria on Sunday 21 May, 2017.

Register yourself, friends and family to take part in the biggest dog walk in Australia. You can help raise vital funds for animals in need by setting up your own fundraising page to make every step count!

Money raised through entry fees, the sale of merchandise and online fundraising will help to fund our critical work in the community, including the care of more than 28,000 animals entering our shelters each year. Every dollar you raise will make a big difference and will help us raise $500,000 to support our work to fight against animal cruelty.

Make sure your register online, dust off those joggers, put your dog on a lead and start fundraising!

Meet Our Heroes

  • Jax

Jax was found wandering around the streets with his three litter-mates. At just three months old, he was homeless, unwanted and unloved. The soft pads on his paws were in pain from the hot pavement and he was panting heavily from extreme thirst. In January, a member of the public alerted RSPCA VIC and an inspector rushed to the scene. Jax and his litter-mates were rescued and immediately taken to an RSPCA Shelter. Jax was hungry, thirsty and frightened of the world. Already skinny and timid, his trust in people was severely shaken. It was only through patience, rehabilitation and love, that he slowly crawled out of his shell and became the joyful dog he is today! This year will be different for Jax. He has a forever home, an adoring family, and is often reminded of how special he is. RSPCA VIC believes that all animals deserve a forever home, where they will be loved and cherished. Together, we can help more animals like Jax!
