What is Million Paws Walk?
Million Paws Walk is a dog walking event held nationally by the RSPCA. This event is the largest fundraising event for the year. It involves thousands of people and their dogs registering, fundraising and participating in walks held across Australia. These vital funds raised are to provide for the animals in our care and fight against animal cruelty. Visit our About page to learn more.
When is Million Paws Walk?
The walk is held on the third Sunday in May every year. This year it will be held on Sunday 19 May 2019.
Who can enter the event?
Anyone can enter the event and everyone is welcome with or without a dog. This includes children, adults, families, school teams, corporate teams, friends and neighbours! Please understand, this is a dog only event, no other animals are allowed for the safety of your pets. We welcome all variety of dogs, whether they are large or small, fluffy or hairless. As you will be in the company of hundreds of dogs, you must take complete responsibility for your own dogs at the event and they all should be on a lead.
Where does the money raised go?
Proceeds from the Million Paws Walk supports the ongoing work of the RSPCA. Funds raised through entry fees, the sale of merchandise and online fundraising, help assist the RSPCA to operate its animal shelters, support its Inspectorate services and provide community education on animal welfare issues.
How can I acesses my ticket?
When you register your ticket is sent to your email provided. Search the subject line in your email: Your name, you're going to Million Paws Walk!
How do I get into Million Paws Walk?
The event village is located next to the Victoria Park Grandstand. Come to the registration marquee and you will have your ticket checked before entering. You can show your ticket on your phone or print it.
Do I get a wrist band?
Yes, you will be given a wrist band before entering into the marquee through to the event village.
What if I purchased a group ticket?
If you purchased a group ticket, you will need to meet at the front of the registration tent and enter together.

Million Paws Club

I'm a Million Paws Club member! How do I gain access to the Million Paws Club marquee?
The Million Paws Club marquee will be easily accessible as you enter into the event. Event staff will check you in and provide access passes, allowing you and your friend to come and go whenever you wish.
I've raised $500 or more, but I haven't received an email confirming my access to the Million Paws Club. What should I do?
Simply contact Kate and the Events Team at events@rspcasa.org.au and let us know. Remember, we will be sending out Million Paws Club invitation emails closer to the actual event.
Is the Million Paws Club available at other walk locations?
The Million Paws Club is only available at the Victoria Park, Adelaide event location.

Volunteering

Who should become a Million Paws Walk volunteer?
If you are over 18 years old and willing to have an early start to the day (don’t worry, it’s only for one day), then we want you! There are a range of volunteering roles to suit all personalities and fitness levels. You should be able to work well under pressure, cope with large crowds and have flexibility. Of course, you must love dogs too!
