When is Million Paws Walk?
The walk is held on the third Sunday in May every year. This year it will be held on Sunday 19th May 2019.
Who can enter the event?
Anyone can enter the event and everyone is welcome. This includes children, adults, families, school teams, corporate teams, friends and neighbours! Please understand, this is a dog only event. We welcome a variety of dogs, whether they are large or small, fluffy or hairless. As you will be in the company of hundreds of dogs, you must take complete responsibility for your own pets at the event.
What if I don’t have a dog?
That's ok, you can still participate! As well as joining fellow animal lovers and dogs on the walk, there will be entertainment, displays, stalls, giveaways and a host of other activities! There will also be plenty of RSPCA staff to talk to if you are interested in adopting a dog or another pet!
Can I buy merchandise?
Online merchandise is now available. Visit our merchandise page or you can purchase during your registration.
Where does the fundraised money go?
Proceeds from the Million Paws Walk event supports the ongoing work of the RSPCA. The registration fees help us cover the cost of the event and the money raised through online fundraising goes directly to help the animals in our care. In Queensland alone, we care for over 53,000 animals each year. Funds raised online, the sale of merchandise and on the day activities help assist the RSPCA to operate its animal shelters, support its Inspectorate services and provide community education on animal welfare issues.

What does my entry fee provide me?
You will gain express access to the event, as well as knowing that you are supporting a great cause!
What happens if it rains?
Million Paws Walk will happen in rain, hail or shine. Unless the weather is deemed as dangerous, we will do our best to go ahead. Some of our most fun events have been in the rain!
