What's happening
You and your four-legged friends are invited to enjoy a walk through the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Garden to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Million Paws Walk.
Come and join fellow animal lovers to help fight animal cruelty and raise vital funds to help animals in need across South Australia.
This year you’ll have a choice of six different start times, which means you and your pet will have more space to relax and enjoy the Garden’s beautiful autumn colours. Early birds can join the first walk at 9:00am and the final group will head off at 11:30am. Places in each group are strictly limited, so be sure to register soon.
You’ll also have a choice of walk distances - choose between a 2.3km or 3.5km stroll.
Before or after your walk we’d love you to join us in the nearby mini Million Paws Walk Village for food trucks, market stalls and festivities.
Adelaide Botanic Garden is usually out of bounds for dogs, except for this one special day when they are welcome inside. Please note, though, that their access is strictly limited between the times of 9:00am and 1:00pm. For the safety of all participants, we request a maximum of one dog per handler please.
Parking
There will be limited parking on Plane Tree Drive, however street parking will be available in the surrounding area. Please be sure to give yourself enough time to secure a park.
Adelaide Botanic Garden free parking:
Car parking is available on Plane Tree Drive and in front of the Goodman Building and State Herbarium (in front of the Rose Garden, closest to the Hackney Gate).
Both car parks are accessed from Hackney Road.
