Getting Here

Melrose Park

The beautiful Blue Mountains walk follows an easy walking track at Melrose Park in Katoomba, with options to walk from 1 to 5 kilometres. In addition to the walk, there will be several stalls selling RSPCA NSW merchandise and donated items, raffle tickets, coffee and food. There will be dog demonstrations and treats for the biggest, the smallest, the cutest, the best dressed dog as well as the one with the biggest head, longest tail and ears. The MPW Raffle ticket draw will give you opportunity to win unique prizes. Whether you have a dog or just love animals, please, come and join us to raise funds for animals in need. All proceeds will assist RSPCA NSW to operate its animal shelters, support its Inspectorate and provide community education on animal welfare issues. The walk is guaranteed to be enjoyable for all dogs and their owners, so put your dog on a lead, grab your camera and join in the fun! Local businesses and charity organisations wishing to be present at this event need to contact the RSPCA RSPCA NSW Blue Mountains Volunteer branch. When invited to attend and prior to the event, stall holders need to maintain and provide a copy of their Public Liability Certificate of Currency, and Food Certificate (if selling food).
