Million Paws Walk is the RSPCA's biggest annual fundraising event. It involves thousands of people and their dogs registering, fundraising and participating in walks held all across Australia to help fight animal cruelty.
Million Paws Walk is held on the third Sunday in May every year. This year's event will be held on Sunday 19 May. The event will run in rain, hail or shine! For event information, please check the appropriate location page.
Anyone can enter the event, even if they aren't a dog owner. Adults, children, families, friends, neighbours and corporate teams are all welcome. All participants must register online or on the day of the event to gain entry. Please note that while cats rule, this event is specifically run for vaccinated, socialised and friendly dogs.
That's okay! You can still participate! As well as joining fellow animal lovers and their dogs on the walk, there will be entertainment, food, giveaways, stalls, RSPCA merchandise, and a whole host of other activities.
Yes, but they must be fully vaccinated, collared and be on a lead at all times. They must also be socialised and generally non-aggressive to people or other dogs. We advise against retractable leads for this event.
There’s a number of ways you can contribute. The best way is to participate in the Million Paws Walk event and fundraise online by getting your family, friends and colleagues to support you and donate to your page.
Absolutely! We actively encourage corporate organisations to get involved with Million Paws Walk, whether that is through fundraising, sponsorship or team participation. We would love to hear from you!
